Description: a pasta sauce i whipped up using whatever was left available in my pantry...hehehe!!!
Ingredients: 450g pasta (spaghetti/linguini/fettucine) ground beef (1/4 kg for 500g pasta) tomato paste (2-3 small sized cans) diced tomatoes (1-2 pieces) onions (minced/chopped) garlic (minced) crushed oregano/parsley salt sugar black pepper garlic powder worcestershire sauce spiced vinegar (if not use lemon with little bit of sugar & salt) white wine italian bread crumbs
Directions:
1. Marinate ground beef for about 15-30 mins with worcestershire sauce, spiced vinegar, garlic powder, black pepper, white wine and italian bread crumbs(optional ni ang wine & crumbs hah, I just used them coz I have it here man gud & adds to the flavour)
2. Saute onions and garlics, followed by diced tomatoes
3. Add the ground beef, simmer, until meat juice almost dries out (note: beef gets brown & cooked)
4. Sprinkle w/oregano and parsley while simmering meat
5. Add salt, pepper, and sugar to taste
6. Add tomato paste and a cup of water (you may use the water used for boiling the pasta) simmer some more and taste...
I actually estimated taste of sugar and salt to get the desired taste...and a little bit of black pepper.
So now prepare your pasta, pour sauce, sprinkle w/parmesan cheese (or any desired grated cheese)...serve with garlic bread.
For garlic bread, you may toast any type of bread brushed w/ melted butter and garlic powder...bake til crisp =)
